Does anyone have any recs for a SSHG epic? I’m in the mood for something that’s angsty and feels like a goddamn novel, preferably with smut but not an overdrawn pwp? I really like Post Tenebras, Lux, but I’ve already read it twice, so I was hoping for something new. Does anyone have any suggestions before I start trolling around Ashwinder?

Enjonine haters/people concerned with queer erasure/ect.
I’ve been in fandoms that have fallen under attack before, admittedly not for this issue, but I can tell you now that screaming at shippers in their tag isn’t going to do jack shit. This is clearly a very important issue to you, and I completely understand why. However, if you actually want to make a change in how people look at this issue, you might want to find a method that doesn’t include telling an entire fandom that they’re made up of homophobic bigots. Of course, if you’re just here to enrage people, I guess keep doing what you’re doing.

Yelling at those attacking you isn’t going to do jack shit either. Yes, they came into your tag and started accusing you, but tumblr is a public place and that’s bound to happen. Now, I think that those that have come here are here for a very serious and important reason, and you should certainly look at their point of view, but that doesn’t mean you have to adopt it. Shipping is supposed to be fun, but don’t forget to look at real world issues too.

Another thing.

Policing people about what they can and cannot like is bullshit. You can always say “I’m concerned that you haven’t considered this issue” because that is perfectly fine, but calling someone homophobic because they haven’t isn’t really helpful.

BUT

You are of course are still perfectly allowed to use whatever goddamn method your pretty little heart desires to get your message across. Who am I to police you?

Just thought that you all ought to know that as I was going through a couple of episodes of LoK on mute, I stopped at a frame with Tarrlok in it, and my boyfriend described him as a Spanish Fabio.

I love astronomy, but I do not love this astronomy homework.

Ha, so, I got this sudden influx of followers after an asexuality blog reblogged my post in response to that ask, and I’ve been noticing the number dwindling again. I suspect this is because people have come to the realization that I’m actually just a boring asshole who engages in a lot of self-deprecation (case in point) and reblogs a lot of (sometimes questionable) things. :P
